Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Bekah Coursey, LCSW

Hi, I’m Bekah Coursey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have many years of experience working with children and families with a wide variety of issues including grief, anxiety, and trauma.

I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach, to walk each individual client through their unique journey.  Together we can embark on a path of growth and resilience, where your voice is honored and your strengths shine.  From nurturing healthy relationships to fostering open communication, I am here to assist each person in reaching harmony and understanding. My approach through compassionate listening and gentle guidance is to provide a safe space to explore and heal from life’s challenges and celebrate clients' triumphs.

My Professional Background

I received my Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Arkansas Little Rock and received my Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas Little Rock

I have worked for several years as a social worker in the community focused on behavioral and mental health needs that improved overall well-being in a school environment. I have worked in a residential setting focusing primarily on domestic violence.  This gave me the opportunity to work with those in crisis and with various mental health issues including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and grief and bereavement.
